So "Me and the Major" is probably my favorite Belle and Sebastian song. It is an awesome song and you can hear it here. Anyway the band Dream Bitches covered it and while it does not sound as fuzzy and comforting it does sound good. So listen to the cover and some more of their songs and see what you think. Also if you want something else to listen to I think If You're Feeling Sinister is a pretty classic album.
