Here is a video from one of my favorite bands that I saw on Pitchfork. It's Okkervil River playing Girl in Port off of their newest album The Stage Names. I think this version is pretty amazing.
Also go to this Grizzly Bear Post to download Grizzly Bear member Daniel Rossen covering Jojo's Too Little Too Late. Surprisingly awesome.

Evil Bee
Here is the new Menomena video for "Evil Bee". It is off of the album Friend and Foe which was released on Barsuk really early this year. It looks to have a pretty high budget for a band like Menomena at least compared to their awesome video for "Wet and Rusting"

It isTrue That it's a Story
So I saw No Country For Old Men tonight and I highly recommend it. I want to see it again like right now. I also saw Enchanted during break and well it was not bad, but Amy Adams was a lot better in Junebug. So I have not been listening to much during break, but I like these songs. Also I am ready for Christmas.
The Mary Onettes - Explosions
Black Tie - Wide Open
Clipd Beaks - Black Glass
Bright Eyes - Coat Check Dream Song (Some special live version for charity)

Airports
So I am flying home today for Thanksgiving. I have recently started associating airports with listening to music and reading. I think thats why I like airports. I think I am going to listen to the new radiohead album a lot because I definitely have not listened to it enough. O yeah if you didn't know you can pay nothing to download it, so go get that. Yeah right now I am just working on cleaning my room before I leave. Some songs you can listen to after MKE.
Radiohead - Bodysnatchers
Kate Nash - Foundations
Minipop - Like I Do
Margot & the Nuclear So and Sos - A Sea Shanty of Sorts

Safety Zone
Lou Reed of Velvet Underground fame has released some new songs. Pitchfork has the story. It has to do with a documentary about a Japaneses invasion. I like the song, but if you are looking for a Lou Reed solo album then Transformer is the way to go.

Need Your Needs
Georgie James is fronted by an ex Q and Not U member and released their debut on Saddle Creek. The song is pretty upbeat and catchy. So check it out if you are feeling depressed or something. The video is alright, I feel like I have seen that concept before though.

Cab News
Chris Walla of Death Cab for Cutie is releasing a solo album. He has produced albums for Tegan and Sara and the Decemberists. So it will probably at least be worth hearing. I am not sure if this is the first song to be released off of it, but here is a song after the jump.
Chris Walla - Sing Again
and if you need cab advice.

Hello, kind of creepy band name
I recently was telling someone how I should listen to Dan Bejar of Destroyer more. He also plays in New Pornographers and Swan Lake. Now apparently he has a new group with a female vocalist called Hello, Blue Roses. Judging from one song it sounds like it is going to be good, but I don't think I can approve that band name.
